OBIT CARPER, ROY H.

CARPER, Roy H., 85, of New Castle, died Friday, April 23, 1993, at his home. He is survived by one son, Steven Allen Carper, Sr., New Castle; two daughters, Janie C. Akers, Floyd, Marta C. Bostic, New Castle; one sister, Crystal C. Johnson, New Castle; a foster sister, Kathleen C. Knuth, New London, Wis.; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. at Chestnut Grove Christian Church, with interment in Huffman Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Boitnott Funeral Home.
