OBIT DALTON, RUBY STEWART

DALTON, Ruby Stewart, 94, of Hillsville, Va., passed away Thursday, April 22, 1993, at Twin County Community Hospital, Galax, Va. She is survived by her husband, Luther C. Dalton; daughter, Laura D. Coburn, Sherman Oaks, Calif.; son-in-law, Robert L. Coburn, Sherman Oaks, Calif.; granddaughter, Katherine S. Coburn, Sylmar, Calif.; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 25, 1993, at the Hillsville Presbyterian Church with the Rev. James G. Carpenter officiating. Burial in the Wilkinson Memorial Cemetery, Hillsville. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a memorial donation may be made to the Hicks-Tompkins Scholarship fund, c/o Hillsville Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, April 24, 1993, at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel, Hillsville, Va.
