PETTY, Alma Mae, 74, of Buchanan, died Thursday, April 22, 1993. She was
born December 15, 1918 and is survived by her husband, James (Tom) Petty; two
daughters, Sue Staton, Virginia Beach, Jeanette Hayslett, Buchanan; three
sons, Eddie Petty, Natural Bridge, Sammy Petty, Danny Petty, both of Buchanan;
five sisters, Margaret Cole, Harrisburg, Pa., Agnes Lincoln, Ruth Snyder, both
of Saginaw, Mich., Libby Klima, Baltimore, Md., Lois LaFuze, Waynesboro; one
brother, Ray Thompson, Security, Colorado; ten grandchildren; five
great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 25, 2 p.m. at
the Rader Buchanan Chapel with the Rev. Donald Staton officiating. Interment
will follow in the Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday
from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
