OBIT REED, MAYE PHILLIPS

REED, Maye Phillips, 80, of Floyd, passed away Wednesday, April 21, 1993 in Winter Garden, Fla. She was the widow of Rev. Everett Reed. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Malissa Reed, Orlando, Fla.; two grandsons, Larry Reed and wife, Cathy, Hendersonville, Tenn., Gregory Reed, Blue Ridge; one great-grandson, Jason Reed, Hendersonville, Tenn.; one sister, Danie Reed, Christiansburg. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, April 26th at Pleasant Valley Church of the Brethren with Rev. Roy Turpin and Rev. Michael Pugh officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Maberry Funeral Home.
