Mr. and Mrs. William R. Rodgers are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy Elizabeth, to Albert Van Dorp, Jr. (Buddy) of Lexington, N.C. She is a graduate of Cave Spring High School and Guilford College. She is page make-up editor for Elegant Bride Magazine in Greensboro, N.C. Buddy is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Van Dorp of Jamestown, N.C. He graduated from Ragsdale High School and N.C. State University, and is a furniture engineer with Lexington Furniture Company. A November wedding is planned.
