BARFIELD-HARTBERGER
Stacey Renee Hartberger and JoelColin Barfield were married April 24, 1993,
in College Lutheran Church. Pastor D. Westerman and Rev. C. Harlow performed
the ceremony. The reception was held at the Sutton Ballroom, Roanoke College.
The matron of honor was Sheila Frey, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were
Sharon Paulson, sister of the bride, and Tracy Watts, friend of the bride.
Flowergirl was Stephanie Paulson, niece of the bride. The best man was Trey
Bateman, friend of the groom. Ushers were Gordon Barfield and Charles
Barfield, brothers of the groom. The candlelighter was Andrew Hartberger. The
guestbook was attended by Rebekah Hartberger and Emily Hartberger. The bride
is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert W. Hartberger, of Lynchburg. She
graduated from Amherst County High School, Radford University, and is employed
by Lewis Gale Hospital. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles H.
Barfield, of Salem. He attended Virginia Western Community College and is
employed by Roanoke County Fire and Rescue. After the wedding trip to the
Bahamas and Disneyworld, the newlyweds will live in Roanoke, Va.
