Monica Lea Miller and JamesThompson Brannon, III, were united in marriage on April 24, 1993 in St. Thomas Episcopal Church in North Charleston, S.C.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Miller of Hanahan, S.C. She is a graduate of Hanahan High School in Hanahan, S.C., and is employed by The Country Gentleman Specialty Shop. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James T. Brannon, Jr. of Virginia Beach, Va. He is a graduate of Cave Spring High School and is a Petty Officer 2nd Class in the U.S. Navy.

Following a wedding trip to Florida, the newlyweds will reside in North Charleston, S.C.
