HALL-HAMMERSTROM
Christine Ann Hammerstrom and Dale Robert Hall were married April 24, 1993,
in Belk Chapel at Queens College, Charlotte, N.C., with the Reverend Tim Auman
officiating. The reception was held at Raintree Country Club. The maid of
honor was Catherine Hammerstrom, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were
Caroline Exum, Kristan Harwood, Christine Helling, Cam Hutchens, all college
friends; and Annette McLeod, sister of the groom. The best man was Robert
Hall, father of the groom. The ushers were Keith Graham, Lamar Lloyd, Moses
Moye, Phillip Parsons, Kevin Poythress, Joe Roy, and Will Whitley, all college
or high school friends. The guestbook was attended by Maribeth Allen, cousin
of the bride. Programs were given out at the wedding by the bride's cousins,
Meg Hammerstrom of Roanoke, and Sarah Swinton of Potomac, Maryland. The
bride's gown was silk, off the shoulder, V-neckline, with chapel train. She
carried a hand-tied bouquet of white roses, gardenias and ivy. The bride is
the daughter of Mr. Arthur Hammerstrom of Charlotte, N.C., and Mrs. Lynda
Hammerstrom of Roanoke. She is a graduate of Langley High School and North
Carolina State University, and attended Queens College. She is employed by the
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools as an elementary school teacher. The groom is
the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hall of Troy, N.C. He graduated from the
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and is employed by WSOC-TV. The
newlyweds will live in Charlotte, N.C., after the wedding trip to St. Thomas,
U.S. Virgin Islands.
