JONES-SUTPHIN
Sonja Leigh Sutphin and Christopher Kyle Jones were married April 24, 1993,
in Southview United Methodist Church with Rev. George W. Pearson, Jr.,
officiating. The reception was held at Southern United Methodist Church. The
matron of honor was Gina M. Suttles, friend of the bride. The bridesmaids were
Robyn Bobbitt, Suzanne Holdridge, Stefanie Lugar and Kristi Wills, all of
Roanoke. The flowergirls were Ashley Gallimore and Haley Maxwell, cousins of
the bride. The best man was William K. Jones, father of the groom. The ushers
included Jimmy Fugate of Charlotte, N. C., Derek Kotheimer, Jeff Suttles, Mark
Tyree and Travis Jones, all of Roanoke. Ringbearers were Chance St. Clair and
Chadson Sutphin. The guestbook was attended by Crystal St. Clair. The bride is
the daughter of Mr. Christy E. Sutphin, Jr., of Roanoke and the late Norma
Jean Sutphin. She graduated from Northside High School and is employed by
BellSouth Communication Systems. The groom is the son of Mr. William Jones and
Mrs. Jean Lawrence of Roanoke. He graduated from Northside High School and is
employed by Carter & Jones Drycleaning. The newlyweds will live in Salem, Va.,
after a wedding trip to Boone, N. C.
