PRILLAMAN-THOMAS
Kathy Joe Thomas and C. Alton Prillaman were married April 24, 1993, in
North Roanoke Baptist Church with Rev. Darryl G. Crim officiating. The
reception was held at North Roanoke Baptist Church. The maid of honor was
Sheron Hornby, friend of the bride. The matron of honor was Cheryl Thomas,
sister-in-law of bride. The bridesmaid was Vicki Prillaman, sister of the
groom. The flowergirl was Morgan Davis, cousin of the bride. Donald Prillaman,
father of the groom, was best man. Ushers were Ray Prillaman, brother of the
groom, and James Milne, friend of the groom. Ringbearer was Brandon Hornby.
Guestbook attendant was Pam Bussey. Photography by Barry Brooks. Wedding
directed and floral arrangements by Thelma Motley. The bride was given in
matrimony by her brother Danny Thomas. She is the daughter of Mrs. Isabel
Thomas of Roanoke and the late Joe D. Thomas. She graduated from Northside
High School, Arnold R. Burton Vocational School and Community Hospital of the
Roanoke Valley School of Nursing. She is employed by Mental Health Services of
the Roanoke Valley. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald G. Prillaman
of Elkhart, Indiana. He graduated from Brookville High School, Virginia
Western Community College and attended Virginia Tech and Old Dominion
University. He is employed by Structural Software. The newlyweds will live in
Roanoke.
