OBIT YOUNG, ESTHER C.

YOUNG, Esther C., 93, of Roanoke, died Friday, April 23, 1993. She was the widow of Arsie Greer Young. She was also preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Joyce Young and son-in-law, Cecil Aaron. Surviving are a son, Donald L. Young, Roanoke; daughters and sons-in-law, Flossie Y. and Curtis Hodges, Roanoke, Doris Y. Aaron, Roanoke, Ruby Y. and Nelson Martin, Vinton, Lillian Y. and Robert Buckner, Vinton, Joyce Y. and Roy Doss, Hindman, Ky.; 21 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; sister, Ruth C. Hodges, Rocky Mount. A funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday at Oakey's Vinton Chapel with the Rev. James Millsaps officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Oakey's Vinton Chapel. Arrangements by Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
