OBIT AUSTIN, RUTH WHITENACK

AUSTIN, Ruth Whitenack, 82, of Floyd, died Saturday morning, April 24, 1993, in Skyline Manor Nursing Home. Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Reginald Clark of Copper Hill; one daughter-in-law, Patsy Austin of Waldorf, Md.; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Funeral will be Monday 2 p.m. at the Stonewall Brethren-Methodist Church with Rev. Elbert L. Naff officiating with interment in the Wilson Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Floyd Rescue Squad, P. O. Box 257, Floyd, Va. 24091. The family will receive friends 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Wood Funeral Home.
