The victory earned the Generals the top seed in the ODAC tournament that starts on Tuesday. Roanoke and W&L have first-round byes.
The Maroons trailed 8-6 before Jen Shimrak and Liz Florence scored to tie it. Roanoke took a 9-8 lead with 2:37 left on Lynlee Dusek's goal. W&L tied it with 1:15 left on a goal by Angie Carrington, who had three on the day.
Lisa Dowling had four goals to lead 14th-ranked W&L (12-2 overall, 8-0 ODAC). Kirsten Wagner had three goals and an assist to lead 11th-ranked Roanoke (9-3, 6-1), which had a 16-game regular-season ODAC win streak broken. Goalkeeper Kathleen Ostar had 18 saves for Roanoke.

Brent Nickles slugged two home runs, including a three-run, ninth-inning blast, to lift visiting Maryland-Baltimore County to a 7-6 Big South Conference baseball victory over Radford (21-15, 9-9).
Sophomore left-hander Norman Howard allowed two hits and one run over six innings to lead The Citadel past VMI 3-2 and complete a three-game sweep of the visiting Keydets. It was the fifth straight loss and ninth in 11 games for VMI (17-27, 5-15 in Southern Conference).
The Citadel (30-22, 13-9) got three run-scoring hits and scored all of its runs in the first inning. The Keydets scored a sixth-inning run on a fielder's choice and picked up another in the seventh when Billy Terry singled home John Payne, who had tripled.
Top-ranked Georgia Tech shot a 291 on Sunday to take a 10-stroke victory over Virginia and capture its third straight Cavalier Classic golf title.
The Yellow Jackets had a 54-hole total of 875, followed by Virgina (885) which moved past Duke (886). Furman was third (888) and N.C. State was fourth (898).
Georgia Tech All-American David Duval shot a 2-under par 214 to win his second straight individual title. Virginia was lead by junior Dan Ladd who finished tied for fifth at 220 and sophomore Jimmy Flippen at 221, tied for eighth.
Virginia Tech shot 305 and came back to finish tied for 11th with Old Dominion at 921 after being 14th after second round. Sean Farrell was Tech's best finisher. He was at 228, tied for 32nd.
In Charlotte, N.C., Duke swept the ACC tennis championships for the second time in three years, as both the women's and men's teams rolled to easy victories at the Renaissance Park Tennis Center. The Blue Devil women downed No. 2 seed Clemson. Duke's men notched a 5-1 win over No. 2 seed North Carolina.
In College Park, Md., Dan Levy scored two goals and got three assists to lead top-ranked North Carolina to an 18-10 victory over Maryland in the championship game of the ACC men's lacrosse tournament. Carolina (12-1) won its sixth consecutive ACC championship.
At River's Edge Sports Complex, Virginia Tech's women's softball team swept a doubleheader from Emory and Henry 17-1 and 11-2 as Tech finished its season 8-4. In Game 1, former Cave Spring star Nikki Clowers was 3-for-3 with four RBI, and Craig County graduate Shelley Keffer was 2-for-3 with four RBI.
The Virginia Tech-Louisville baseball game in Louisville, Ky., was canceled by rain. The Hokies play at Marshall today.
