OBIT LEA, MARGARET BRIDGEMAN

Lea, Margaret Bridgeman, 82, of 1210 Maymont Drive, Bedford, passed away on Saturday, April 24, 1993, at the residence. She was a homemaker and a member of Main Street United Methodist Church. She was born in Dinwiddie County on August 26, 1910, a daughter of the late Thomas Bridgeman and Mary Virginia Miles. She is survived by her husband, Irving W. Lea; a daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Herman Gatling, Murrieta, Calif.; a brother, Ernest Bridgeman, Blackstone; a granddaughter, Lorraine Musgrave, Doylestown, Pa.; two grandsons, Geoff Gatling, Alta Loma, Calif. and Eric Gatling, Cairo, Egypt; four great-grandchildren and two nieces. A graveside service will be conducted Monday, April 26, 1993 at Virginia Memorial Park with Dr. Carl H. Douglass Jr. officiating. The family requests that flowers be omitted and contributions be made to the Building Fund of Main Street United Methodist Church. Updike Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
