NEXT GED TESTS SCHEDULED FOR MAY

Registration for the General Educational Development Test, for those wanting to earn a high school equivalency certificate, will be at the Montgomery County School Board office, 200 Junkin St., May 3-7 from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Applicants must apply in person

GED sessions are May 12 and May 14, 4:15-9 p.m., at Christiansburg High School on Independence Boulevard.

Test sessions are limited to 60 people; and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.

You must be at least 18 and have lived in Virginia at least 30 days prior to applying. Positive identification will be required at registration.

The battery of tests costs $20, plus $4 for each retest. No checks will be accepted.

Applicants who fail one or more of the tests must wait 60 days before retesting. Call 381-6116.
