OBIT WIMMER, BILLY MARVIN

WIMMER, Billy Marvin, 63, of Salem, died Monday, April 26, 1993. He was retired from Rowe Furniture after 40 years of service. He is survived by three sisters, Mary Ellen Laprad, New Castle, Lillian Wells, Virginia Beach, Joyce Ann Long, Hampton; three brothers, Ervin Wimmer, Chesapeake, Earl Wimmer and Allan Wimmer, both of Salem. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, 11 a.m. at the John M. Oakey and Son Funeral Home Chapel, Salem with the Rev. Forest Wells officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
