OBIT CORVIN, RUTH BILLIPS

CORVIN, Ruth Billips, 74, of Wytheville, died Sunday, April 25, 1993, in the Wythe County Community Hospital. She was the widow of Robert S. Corvin and is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Larry R. and Nancy W. Corvin, Wytheville; three sisters, Betty Ison, Jenkins, Ky., Margaret Hans, Wilmington, Del., Evelyn Goins, Grove City, Calif.; two brothers, Lon Billips, Artesia, New Mexico; Willard Billips, Chipopee, Mass.; one sister-in-law, Opal C. Vaughn, Wytheville. A graveside service will be Wednesday, 11 a.m. in the West End Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Joe Brookshire. The family will receive friends at the Grubb Funeral Home Tuesday, 7 to 9 p.m. Arrangements by The Grubb Funeral Home.
