OBIT VANDYKE, MARY BELLE

VANDYKE, Mary Belle, 77, of Swords Creek, passed away Monday afternoon, April 26, 1993, in a Richlands Va. hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jake Henry VanDyke on September 5, 1986. Survivors include one son, Thomas VanDyke of Swords Creek; one sister, Mrs. Phyllis Call Sturgill of Summerville, S. C.; two brothers, Harry Call and Johnny Call, both of Akron, Ohio; three granddaughters, Sheila Ann Kiser, Sherry Lee Shelton and Sharon Rebecca Cole; five great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Honaker Funeral Home, Honaker, Va., with the Rev. Mike McFarlen, the Rev. Ben McCann and the Rev. Jessie Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Greenhills Memory Gardens at Claypool Hill, Va. Friends may call at the Honaker Funeral Home after 6 p.m. Wednesday.
