OBIT COLE, MILDRED L.
COLE, Mildred L., 66, of 405 Fourth Street, Bluefield, W.Va., died Monday,
April 26, 1993 at the Bluefield Regional Medical Center. She was the daughter
of the late Lonnie M. Lester and Bessie Mae Robinette Lester and was preceded
in death by one brother. She was a member of the First Nazarene Church of
Bluefield, W. Va. and a member of the Bluefield, W.Va. Eastern Star #66. She
was a seamstress for the Aratex Uniform Rental in Bluefield, Va. for 14 years.
She is survived by her husband, John D. Cole of Bluefield, W.Va.; one
daughter, Mrs. James (`Sandy') Harris of Dublin, Va.; one son, Douglas Cole
Jr., Virginia Beach, Va.; one sister, Mrs. Beryl (Linda) Boswell, Lima, Peru;
one brother, Mr. Damon Lester of San Antonio, Texas; five grandchildren; one
great-grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Thursday,
April 29, 1993 at the First Nazarene Church, 1400 Stadium Dr., Bluefield,
W.Va. with the Rev. Greg Hostutler officiating. Burial will follow at the
Grandview Memorial Gardens in Bluefield, Va. Friends may call from 7 p.m. to 9
p.m. Wednesday, April 28, 1993 at the Mercer Funeral Home, 1401 Bland Street,
Bluefield, W.Va. 24701.
