DISASTER PAYMENTS MAY BE DUE

Producers of 1992 crop-corn for grain whose harvest was low-quality because of natural disasters may be eligible for disaster payments, according to Terry Altizer, County Executive Director of the Giles and Montgomery County Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service.

Adjustments will be made to those who suffered losses as the result of damaging weather or related conditions. Deadline for application is May 7. Call 382-3961 for information.
