DELEGATE WITH CANCER WILL SEEK RE-ELECTION

Del. Andy Guest said Wednesday his treatment for cancer won't prevent him from seeking re-election.

"I enter this campaign with a challenge of my own," Guest, 53, R-Front Royal, said in a release. "I am currently undergoing treatment in Winchester for cancer. I will confront both these challenges with equal determination and commitment. You may also be certain that, on both counts, I intend ultimate victory."

Guest declined to be interviewed or to divulge what type of cancer he has.
