ROANOKE MAN RECEIVES NATIONAL YMCA AWARD

Jay Langhammer has been given one of the YMCA's highest honors in recognition of his volunteer work with the YMCA of Roanoke Valley.

Langhammer received the YMCA of the U.S.A.'s Distinguished Leadership Award, honoring him for his 25 years of service.

During that time, he has served as general chairman in the annual fund-raising campaign and also has been board president, vice president, building campaign chairman and endowment fund chairman.
