DON'T IGNORE THE ATROCITIES

ARE WE going to stand by as we did in World War II and watch as helpless women and little children are annihilated in Sarajevo and the surrounding area?

My father fought bravely to conquer the Nazis in Germany and was one of the liberators at the concentration camps of Buchenwald and Auschwitz. He told my brothers and me of all the atrocities he witnessed and asked us never to forget that this awful thing took place. If he were alive today, he would certainly be saddened that the world is once again silently watching and doing nothing as these innocent people are being "cleansed" from God's earth.

Wake up, America. Write or call our president and congressmen and ask them to act now. Let's not repeat history. Help save the little children! BOB GREGORY ROANOKE
