ST. ALBANS AUXILIARY DONATES TO 3 GROUPS

The St. Albans Auxiliary has donated money to three local groups. The Pulaski Salvation Army, the Radford/Fairlawn Daily Bread and Pulaski Daily Bread each received checks of $1,500 at a recent luncheon.

Salvation Army Capt. Sam Flanigan, who accepted the check from Nora McGraw, auxiliary president, said the money would go toward family and medical assistance programs.

Lydia Warren of Radford/Fairlawn Daily Bread said the donation would help the program to continue feeding 40-50 people each day.

Lynda Semones received the donation on behalf of Pulaski Daily Bread, which is celebrating its sixth anniversary. She said the Pulaski program feeds an average of 120 people daily.

The total $4,500 came from contributions to the auxiliary's 1992 Tree of Light project and from the auxiliary's general treasury.
