`BE KIND TO ANIMALS WEEK'

Next week is "Be Kind to Animals Week," and the Humane Society of Montgomery County encourages everyone to consider the responsibility of pet ownership, pet abandonment and animal overpopulation.

Ways to celebrate the week include supporting animals at the shelter with food and donations and ensuring that your own pets are well-fed, healthy, not allowed to run free and spayed or neutered.
