OBIT-SISSON, DONALD L.

SISSON, Donald L. age 59, of Shawsville, died April 28, 1993, at his home. Mr. Sisson was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, having served in the Air Force for four years. He was a retired employee of General Electric Company with 30 years service and a member of the Crockett Springs United Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife, Sue Hubbard Sisson; two sons, Scott Stanley Sisson, Shawsville, Daryl Wayne Sisson, Roanoke; one daughter, Cathy Sisson Fisher, Salem; his mother, Bonnie Willis Sisson; one brother, James Oliver Sisson, both of Shawsville. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday from the Crockett Springs United Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. Gary Heaton and Rev. Raymond Kelley, with burial in Piedmont Cemetery. The family request in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Shawsville Rescue Squad or Crockett Springs United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m. Friday at the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home, Christiansburg.
