PULASKI TEAMS FARE WELL IN REGION, STATE

Several youth basketball teams from Pulaski fared well in regional and state recreation program tournaments recently.

From the Boys' Junior League: The Bulls placed second in the Southwest Region at Bedford and third in the state, also at Bedford. They were coached by Jerry Owen. The Hornets did not place in the regional tournament.

From the Boys' Senior League: The Hornets won the Southwestern Regional title at Pulaski. They did not place in the state tournament. They were coached by Jodi Manns and Sam Poindexter.

From the Girls' Senior League: The Cougars won the Southwestern Region title at Pulaski. They were coached by Rob Sypniewski and Dennis Shrewsberry. The Cougars "B" were the regional runners-up.
