SPANN-CRAIG

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Smith Spann of Anderson, South Carolina, annouce the engagement of their daughter, Elizabeth Stringfellow Spann, to Thomas Coleman Craig, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Thomas Craig of Birmingham, Alabama. The wedding is planned for August 7, 1993, in Anderson.

Miss Spann is the granddaughter of Mrs. Horace Stringfellow, III of Macon, Georgia, and the late Mr. Stringfellow; and Mrs. Herbert Alva Spann of Anderson, South Carolina, and the late Mr. Spann. She is a graduate of Presbyterian College in Clinton, South Carolina and is a member of Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority.

Mr. Craig is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Irad Bachman Lower of Roanoke, Virginia; and the late Mr. Thomas Herbert Craig and the late Mrs. Robert G. Atkins of Martinsville, Virginia. He is a graduate of Presbyterian College in Clinton, South Carolina and is a member of Alpha Sigma Phi.

The groom is employed in Birmingham, Alabama.
