Jim and Joyce Widener of Wytheville, are pleased to announce the engagement and forth-coming marriage of their daughter, Melinda Gail, to Michael Scott Disher, son of Richard and Rita Disher of Gladys. Melinda and Scott are graduates of Radford University and are pursuing careers in Knoxville, Tenn. The happy couple plan June 12, 1993, as their wedding day, at the Wytheville Baptist Church.
