CROW-BETTS
Nancy Lawrence Betts and Russell Allen Crow were married May 1, 1993, in
St. Benedict Catholic Church with Fr. David McGuire officiating. The reception
was held at The Country Club of Virginia. The maid of honor was Susan Gerard
Betts, sister of bride. The matron of honor was Carolyn Vranian Hutchison. The
bridesmaids were Elizabeth Lawler Betts, sister of bride, and Nancy Jane
Gralow. The best man was Dr. Byron Parker Crow, father of groom. Ushers were
David Crow, brother of groom, Elliot Eliades and Michael Mullen. The bride is
the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Franklin Betts of Richmond, Va. She
graduated from St. Cahterine's School and Simmons College. She received her
law degree from the College of William & Mary Law School and has her own law
practice. The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Byron Parker Crow of Salem, Va.
He graduated from North Cross School and Roanoke College. He has a master's
degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute. He is employed by Revcar
Fasteners, Inc. The newlyweds will live in Richmond, Va., after a wedding trip
to San Francisco and the Napa Valley.
