GOODE-BUZBY

Jane Buzby and Phillip Edward Goode, Jr. were married on Saturday, May 1, 1993 in Christ Episcopal Church with the Reverend Deborah Hentz Hunley officiating. The reception was held in the church parish hall. Robin Buzby Lewis of Efland, North Carolina, was her sister's matron of honor, and Melanie FordArmstrong of Cary, North Carolina, was her step-sister's bridesmaid. PhillipEdward Goode, father of the groom, served as best man. Timothy Goode of Nashville, Tennessee, was his brother's groomsman.

The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Alden Ford of Roanoke, and the late Rev. Richard Buzby. She is agraduate of Patrick Henry High School and Radford University, and is a media consultant for WJLM-FM. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Edward Goode of Check. He is a graduate of William Byrd High School and Trevecca Nazarene College, and is self-employed. After a Southern wedding trip the couple will make their home in Roanoke.
