RICHARDS-BARR

Rebecca Lynn Barr and Robert Lewis Richards were united in marriage on Saturday, May 1, 1993, at Rainbow Forest Baptist Church in Troutville, Virginia. Rev. Ken Butterworth performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Rev. and Mrs. Juan Barr and Ms. Brenda Barr. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Juanita Barr and the late Ervin Barr, Mrs. Jeanette Walker and the late William Lee Walker, and Mrs. Emily Hurst.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alton Richards and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Teaford.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. Margaret Wright was the bride's maid of honor. Her other attendants were Lori Schilling, Treva Richards and Arber Miller.

The groom's father was best man. Ushers were John Richards, Danny Barr and Heath Cockerham.

The flower girl was Stephanie Rose. John Lewis Richards was the ring bearer.

The bride is employed at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. The groom is a student at Ferrum College.

After a honeymoon trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C., the couple will reside in Roanoke.
