OBIT JOURNIETTE, THEODORE ST.MATTHEW

JOURNIETTE, Theodore St.Matthew, 68, of Roanoke, died Friday, April 30, 1993 in Lewis Gale Hospital. He was a faithful member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses and a retired employee of C&P Telephone Company. Survivors include his wife, Mary Ruth Patrick Journiette; two sons and daughters-in-law, Theodore and Janet Journiette, Phoenix, Ariz., Timothy and Jackie Journiette, Durham, N.C.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Jernell and Alver Greene, Martinsville, Vara Ann and Herman Lathon Sr., Colonial Heights; six grandchildren; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Benjamin and Lucille Journiette, Buchanan, William and Ethel Journiette, Riverside, Calif., George and Lillie Journiette, Roanoke, Joseph and AlJean Journiette, Roanoke; five sisters and brother-in-law, Nanny Clay, Mary Green, Gladys Brewer, Martha and Otis Ogden, all of Roanoke, Carolyn Radford, Silver Spring, Md., brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Marion Patrick, Queen Ester Turner, Rebecca Stokes, Hester Edwards, all of Bridgeport, Conn.; a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 4, 1993, at 1 p.m. in Rader Troutville Chapel with Brother Willie Reese Sr. and Brother Julius Sutton. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Rader Funeral Home, Troutville.
