OBIT PAINTER, HAROLD WILLIAM
PAINTER, Harold William, 70, of Charlottesville, and formerly of Chiloquin,
Ore., died Friday, April 30, 1993, at the University of Virginia Medical
Center. Born on May 20, 1922, in San Francisco, Calif., he was the son of the
late Howard Clyde and Cecile Dove Potter Painter. He is survived by his friend
of many years, Jim Brown, of Charlottesville. Mr. Painter served in the United
States Army during World War II and was a member of American Craft and
American Tapestry Alliance. A memorial service will be conducted at a later
time. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association,
1924 Arlington Blvd., Charlottesville, VA 22903. Harold also wanted to
encourage people to consider organ donation, because the need is so great. The
Teague Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
