OBIT MACGREGOR, WILLIAM EARL

MacGREGOR, William Earl, 77, of Salem, died Sunday, May 2, 1993, in a local hospital. He was a World War II veteran. He was retired from the U.S. Government. He is survived by his wife, Eva Beatrice MacGregor; two sons and daughters-in-law, Rob R. and Mary MacGregor of Augusta, Ga., Rory J. and Frances MacGregor of Roanoke; a daughter and son-in-law, Catherine and Barry Davis of Roanoke; grandchildren, Paul, Sara, Robert, Scott and Clay. A memorial service will be held Thursday, May 6, 1993 at 7 p.m. at Our Lady of Nazareth Catholic Church with Father Ken Stofft officiating. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Saint Francis House, 824 Campbell Ave., S.W., Roanoke, Va. 24010. Arrangements are being handled by Lotz Salem Chapel.
