OBIT SINK, DALTON REESE

SINK, Dalton Reese, 77, of Roanoke County, died Monday, May 3, 1993. Dalton was an active member of Red Hill Baptist Church, an army veteran of World War II and was a member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local #491-Roanoke. He was retired from Honeywell and is survived by his wife, Virginia Powell Sink; a sister, Dossie S. Kingery, Roanoke; a brother and sister-in-law, Raymond R. and Thelma A. Sink, Sebastian, Fla.; brother-in-law, Russell Patsel, Roanoke; a sister-in-law, Mary F. Sink, Summerville, S. C.; several nieces and nephews and a special friend, Howard Peters. Funeral services will be held at Oakey's South Chapel, Wednesday, May 5, 1 p.m. with the Rev. William Dixon officiating. Interment in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Good Samaritan Hospice, 3241 D. Electric Rd., Roanoke 24018 or Red Hill Baptist Church Memorial Fund, 6251 Franklin Rd., Roanoke 24014 in his memory. Friends may call at Oakey's South Chapel.
