OBIT MARTIN, VIRGINIA LUCAS

MARTIN, Virginia Lucas, 69, of 2060 Westover Ave., S.W., passed away Tuesday, May 4, 1993. She was the widow of Calvin C. Martin. She is survived by one son, Homer W. Martin; one daughter, Charlotte M. Martin; one granddaughter, Angela M. Smith, all of Roanoke; two grandsons, D. Alexander Smith, Myrtle Beach, S.C., Kenneth W. Smith, Roanoke; one great-granddaughter, Kayla M. Penton, Roanoke; a favorite nephew, Wayne E. Gray, Vinton. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, May 6, with the Rev. Dr. Daniel E. Scott officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at Oakey's North Chapel where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
