OBIT ZINSER, JOHANNA S.

ZINSER, Johanna S., 87, of Roanoke, died Tuesday, May 4, 1993, in a local nursing home. She was born January 5, 1906, in Essen, Germany. She came to the United States in the Fall of 1925. Mrs. Zinser was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Fred Zinser. She was a member of the Thursday Morning Music Club and the Cave Spring United Methodist Church. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Hannah and Art Raque', Roanoke; granddaughter and spouse, Marsha Raque' and John Wilson, Smyrna, Del.; great-grandson, John Arthur Wilson, Smyrna, Del. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to a favorite charity. Arrangements by Oakey's South Chapel.
