EXPLORE IS A TRIP TO THE PAST I AM UPSET THAT MANY PEOPLE DO NOT APPRECIATE

It is a home for wildlife, and the workers show and talk about these interesting animals. If my class at school had not visited there, I would not have known that a big brown bat is so small and soft. We even got to pet one! Under other circumstances, we never would have gotten our teacher to touch a corn snake.

Another fun thing at Explore was when Mr. Curley Ennis taught us about some old music. He played some old instruments and got us to singing.

Explore took us back to the pioneer time and taught us how difficult it was to live back then. We learned about the old tools and clothes, too.

The park really lived up to its name because I got to explore the past. I think it is a great place. JENNY MOORE TROUTVILLE
