OBIT FUQUA, DOROTHY H.
FUQUA, Dorothy H., 83, of Montvale, died in Lafayette, Calif., Thursday,
April 29, 1993. She was the widow of Abner L. Fuqua. She was a member of the
Montvale Presbyterian Church. Surviving are one daughter, Mary A. Fuqua,
Lafayette, Calif.; two sons, Don R. Fuqua, Baltimore, Md., David W. Fuqua, San
Rafael, Calif.; one sister, Cecile Slusser, Blacksburg; also surviving are a
number of nieces and nephews. Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at
the Montvale Presbyterian Church Cemetery, with Dr. J. Harris Stephans
officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to
the Montvale Rescue Squad or Fire Department. The family will receive friends
from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
