OBIT DEHART, WILLIE BENJAMIN

DeHART, Willie Benjamin, ("Ben"), 64, of Rt. 2, Bassett, died Tuesday night, May 4, 1993, in a Martinsville hospital. He was an employee of Bassett Chair Company. Surviving are his mother, Effie B. DeHart of Fieldale; five sisters and three brothers-in-law, Lorine and Edd Woods, Nerene and Ward Tolbert, all of Bassett; Catherine Moran of Floyd, Irene Duncan of Patrick Springs, Lois and Marvin Spencer, Fieldale; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Howard and Lily DeHart, Delmar DeHart, all of Bassett, Dorothy DeHart of Stuart; also several nieces and nephews. Funeral service Friday, 2 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, Floyd, with the Rev. Tom Bumpus officiating with interment in Jacksonville Cemetery, Floyd. The family will receive friends 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Wood Funeral Home.
