OBIT HELMS, NELL J.
HELMS, Nell J., 75, of Newport News, formerly of Callaway, died Monday, May
3, 1993. She was a native of the Callaway Community and retired from Daily
Press and Times Herald. Surviving is one daughter, Patricia H. Brandt of
Forrest, Va.; one son, Larry W. Helms of Williamsburg, Va. Also surviving are
three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Graveside services will be
conducted 1 p.m. Friday at the Helms Family Cemetery and the family will
receive friends at Lynch Funeral Home Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
