OBIT SILVER, MARY GENEVA WEBBER

SILVER, Mary Geneva Webber, 84, of Hampton, Va., died Wednesday, May 5, 1993, in Sentara Hampton General Hospital. She was a native of Bedford Co., and a past resident of Blue Ridge. She was a member of Mayflower Hills Baptist Church, Roanoke. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Silver Haley, Hampton; sons, Wayne E. Silver, Sr., Poquoson, Kenneth D. Silver, Hampton, and Donnie R. Silver, Newport News; sisters, Gladys J. Moses, Newport News, Ruth A. Gross, Bedford Co., Cora A. Hines, Newport News, Dorothy E. Jennings, Roanoke; brothers, Lawrence E. Webber, Roanoke, Henry E. Webber, Bedford Co., and Nelson A. Webber, Blue Ridge; thirteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted at 3 p.m Saturday, May 8, 1993, at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hampton, Va., with the Rev. Donald Dyer officiating. Burial in Parklawn Memorial Park, Hampton. The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Julie Silver Transplant Fund, 15 Catalina Dr., Hampton, Va. 23664. R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home, Hampton, is in charge of the arrangements.
