Because of a production error, the last two columns of type were transposed in a story in some editions Wednesday about the dispute over electric rates in Bedford.

That left the incorrect impression that an Appalachian Power Co. vice president was endorsing the reliability of PSI Energy Inc., a competing utility. In fact, the quote about PSI's reliability came from Bedford Mayor Mike Shelton.
