HEART FOCUS OF SEMINAR FOR PHYSICIANS

A symposium on cardiovascular medicine for primary physicians will be sponsored by Twin County Community Hospital and Duke University from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday in the hospital classroom.

It is designed to acquaint the physicians with medical evaluation and new approaches in the treatment of coronary artery disease and the role of the cardiovascular data bank in patient management.

Speakers include Dr. Robert M. Califf, Dr. E. Magnus Ohman, Dr. Christopher M. O'Connor and Dr. Harry R. Phillips III, all associated with Duke University; Dr. Joseph A. Puma, Twin County Medical Associates and consulting associate at Duke's Department of Medicine, and Drs. Robert Pryor and James Nuckolls, Blue Ridge Health Associates.
