NEW MARKET'S MOYERS WINS SENIOR EVENT

Bob Moyers of New Market shot a 69 and finished with a 140 total to win his third consecutive Virginia Senior Stroke Play Championship golf tournament. James P. Kite of Wolftown was second after a 71 left him at 142 at the par-71, 6,397-yard Springfield Country Club. J.D. Sisson of Salem finished tied for 10th after his 70 left him at 155.
