S.C. FACULTY ENDORSE FIRINGS FOR HARASSMENT

Professors who date their students should be fired, the University of South Carolina's Faculty Senate says.

Senate members on the Columbia campus debated for more than an hour Wednesday before endorsing the idea. Some men argued the university has no business telling employees with whom they can become involved.

The university's trustees will be asked to endorse the policy, part of a 15-page document detailing how the school should react to sexual harassment. - Associated Press
