OBIT-STUART, THEODORE R., ("TED")

STUART, Theodore R., ("Ted"), 87, of Vinton, died Wednesday, May 5, 1993, in a local hospital. He retired from the Norfolk & Western Railways, East End Shops, and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Livesay Stuart. Surviving are a sister, Lyda B. Stuart, Pasadena, Calif.; a number of nieces and nephews; special friends, Linda Huddleston and Rhonda Thomas, both of Vinton. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's Vinton Chapel at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 8, 1993, with the Rev. Dr. George Wesley Jones officiating. Burial will be at 1 p.m. in the Cedar Hill Cemetery, Covington, Va. Friends may call at Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
