"These are the remaining articles and documents necessary to close on the property," said Gary Elander, town administrator.
Council in February authorized a $650,000 bond issue to buy the 11 buildings and 101 acres of real estate near Interstate 81, just outside town limits. The town plans to use the site and buildings to develop an industrial park.
Elander said the property already has about a half-dozen tenants.
The Burlington site contains 126,000 square feet of floor space and 33 acres of land directly on I-81.
Council also authorized the Dublin Police Department to hire Kelly Williams. Williams has worked for the department previously.
