NORTHWOOD STUDENTS HONORED 5TH YEAR IN ROW

For the fifth straight year, Northwood High School students took the trophy for the highest percentage of winners at Virginia Highlands Community College's Office Technology Day.

Other participating schools were Abingdon, Holston, Patrick Henry, Chilhowie, Virginia and John Battle High Schools and Smyth County Vocational School. First-place winners in each contest received at $300 scholarship for Virginia Highlands. - Southwest bureau
